Sourdough starter

£15.00

Sourdough bread is a staple in this house.

I have a selection of white, wholemeal and rye starters to choose from. I only use organic flours. Carefully cultivated and nurtured, this live starter is the key to creating well leavened and flavourful loaves in your own kitchen.

Features:

  • Wild microbe power: harnessing the natural wild yeast and bacteria from your environment for a unique flavor profile.

  • Easy to use: my starter comes ready to use (once you have fed it after its journey), perfect for beginners and seasoned bakers alike.

  • Versatile: not just for bread; great for pancakes, flatbreads, cinnamon buns and more!

  • Sustainable: if you look after it, your starter will last for the rest of your life, and for the generations that come after you. It could become an heirloom enabling the magical practice of sourdough-making to continue amongst your family and friends.
